About Sachin Shetty

I am a Bengaluru-based fashion and advertising photographer, bringing over fourteen years of expertise to the lens. Having collaborated with a diverse roster of brands across multiple industries, I have developed a sharp understanding of how to translate unique commercial needs into compelling imagery.

My visual foundation, however, was built far outside the studio. I began my career as a macro photographer in Kerala, where my intricate work earned a state award from the Kerala Department of Art and Culture and was featured in several solo exhibitions. I subsequently honed my technical and commercial execution by training in advertising photography at NICC Bengaluru.

Beyond my commercial portfolio, I remain deeply committed to my independent fine-art practice. In 2024, my photographic exploration of Kolkata won the fifth edition of the My Kolkata in Kolkata (MKIK) award. This honor, backed by Emami Art and the Kolkata Centre for Creativity, was presented at the AMI Arts Festival in partnership with the Chennai Photo Biennale.
